Maybe try to enter only one line (or comment out lower lines) and press enter to boot to see the result till that line.

Not sure what you suggest...There's an interactive boot mode in Windows: the boot pause after every step and user can either confirm or skip every next step. I've been wondering if this option is available in grub...
I am trying to troubleshoot boot process on the small form system ( e.g. small screen). My boot log is very verbose, so i cannot see everything with 'dmesg'... Is there some way to pause/ resume boot, or to dump the whole thing to the disk?
Thanks,

Since your subject is: "grub debugging-?" I thought you are asking about lines written in grub menu.lst entries. For your requirement option will have to be entered on kernel line and may differ in different distros.

Sorry, I know that options would need to be altered on kernel line but beyond that is beyond me.
