Gnome, Shortcut for "headphones" instead of "volume"


is it possible to put custom commands in the Gnome shortcut manager

well I've got no gnome experience yet, but I imagine you could put your custom commands into a shell script and put the script in the shortcut manager...

Solution

I recently had a similar issue. I resolved it (on Ubuntu 7.04) by going to System-->Preference-->Sound and selecting the default channel at the bottom...Hope this helps.
