Gnome Nautilus has tab feature ?

I am new to gnome and I am using FC5.
I don't like the way Nautilus as filemanager open directories in new windows. Is there a way to open directories in a new tab or, at least, in the same window, in the way konqueror does ?

thanks,

Nautilus doesn't support tabs. I'm not aware of any plans to implement this either. As a replacement you might want to check out pcman (http://pcmanfm.sourceforge.net/)

yep follow this:

as normal user launch: gconf-editor

then go this pasth: apps>nautilus>preferences

then mark the box saying: always_use_browser

thenit should be done, may have to restart gnome
