glxinfo output

Hello !

I execute this command:
Code:
glxinfo
from my console and in the output it doesn't say anything about "direct rendering" witch is the information that I am looking for.

Code:
glxgears
is working at 329.534 FPS.

Code:
glxinfo | grep rendering
output is null.

some additional info:
os: slackware [13.0.0.0.0]
vga: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller

output for glxinfo:
Code:

Welcome to LQ!

It looks like there is something wrong with the setup. I don't use distribution that you use, so maybe the best community in the world of the best OS in the world will help you here.

I will just suggest that you read this guide.

The problem with checking for direct rendering is that even the Mesa software renderer supports direct rendering. You should be pleased to know that the output you have shown is correct. You are using the 3D hardware driver from Mesa 7.5.
