as i know version glib-2.x... was renamed in glib2-... . so you have it installed, just download the devels and install them. that's all. but maybe i'm wrong with that!!
watch out, like whansard said...the version has to match perfectly if "glib-1.2.10-10" then you have to install "glib-devel-1.2.10-10"

try this: rpm -qa | grep glib and post it here plz, i'll find you the devels.also tell me what ditri you use.
