Gamma settings?
 
does anyone know how to change the gamma? my screen is too dark even with brightness and contrast at max... im using SuSE 9.1 im a :newbie:

You might try xgamma

man xgamma

Remember the setting that works for you, then put it into your .login or .profile or whatever.
