game crashed - resolution was messed up
 

When a game crashes, everything on my desktop looks big as if it's trying to view a 1024x768 page in a 640x480 space. I fixed the problem by logging out and logging back in. I know about the crtl-alt-backspace option, but I was wondering if there was a way to fix the screen resolution from the command line terminal.

have you tried Ctrl-Alt-Plus and Ctrl-Alt-Minus? (plus and minus on the numpad i believe) They change the resolution, at least they're supposed to. :rolleyes:
