ftp install linux

hi,

is there anyone have try to install RH linux via ftp, i always install FreeBSD via ftp, it is very good, it take about one hour that ok.

But i try to install linux RH with the mirror site in local, i found it take 6 hours dowload and then install, i really want to know is there have other method to install it quick, it may be my install method have problem, it is so looooooong...

anyone have these experience?? Thanks..

All I can suggest is that you either try other mirrors (depending on their load and connection, speeds will vary) or spend the 6 hours grabbing the isos and burning them to cd.

i install it in my company, it is a data center and have enough bandwidth to dowload, also, i download it from local mirror site, if i dowload the iso image, it is very quick...
i am just testing about ftp installation linux..
