fstab mounting

I want to mount my windows shares in linux by using entries in fstab so they are automatically mounted each time linux starts. However, even though there is no password set, the boot process waits for me to enter a password before carrying on. How do I encorporate this password into fstab?

just set a password= option in the options for the mount. afaik if you just don't give it a value it will send a null password.

remember that if you put username=foo;password=bar in fstab, this is in clear text sitting on your filesystem - bad idea. If you can tollerate this, make sure you don't reuse this username/password pair on other resources, so if you're compormised, only samba - which is pretty weak anyway - is vulnerable
