Formatting a FAT32 partition...

Hey all,

I'm wanting to format around a 20gb partition in FAT32 so i can access and write to it from both WinXP and Linux on my dual boot machine.
Thing is, i don't seem to have a mkfs.fat32 file in my /sbin so where should i get this from or what else should i do to format this partition?

Cheers,

Sam.

Why not just see the partition in XP and format from there.

Alternatively, put in your WinXP cd and when you are given the option to format your disks, pick the new partition and format it.

Use XP and format it with diskmanager.

Do you have mkfs.vfat or mkdosfs?
