I am looking for the souce rpm of my kernel for Mandrake 8.1 and i couldn't find it ANYWHERE!!!.
Finally i booted from the Mandrake cd and choose update and i choose the kernel source and it didnt even install it! Could this file be missing or something? i really need it thanx.!
This is also off topic, but i've been trying to make a shortcut for LimeWireLinux for so long and i still cant figure it out. Since its hard to explain in words i have created a screenie. (gotta love GIMP).
What I did, I wrote a two-liner, put it under my /home/neo/bin directory
open up your lovely text editor, and place this lines
#!/bin/sh
cd /Ful/lPath/To/LimeWire/Directory
sh runLime.sh
Save it in /home/yourlogin/bin for example (make sure it is in your path)
then change the permissions of the file: from console
chmod 755 file
Then right-click on your desktop Create New->Link to Application
fill out the fields, in Execute tab browse to the script you just created and you are all set.
