Fonts that look good without antialiasing

Does anyone know of any fonts that look decent with antialiasing turned off? I find sharp, crisp, aliased fonts easier on the eyes, but most of the standard fonts look awful without antialiasing, mainly with the"O"s and "e"s. Something similar to Windows XP's default font would be nice.

pixelfonts, bitmap fonts...
on linux most xfonts, ...
on arch, "yaourt bitmap font" gives me 38 results.
terminus being one of the best.
on mint, you'd have to enable bitmap fonts first i guess.
