Firefox cosmetics (KDE vs. Gnome? or Packaged vs. Source?)
I know this is really picky... but my eyes hurt.
http://static.flickr.com/43/75013298_4e8c7831f1_o.jpg The top one is my recent one where I emerged mozilla-firefox in KDE (it did this before when i used USE="kde qt -gnome -gtk" so I didn't do that this time.) It has black lines running throughout and on the far-right side it's intollerable. The bottom on the other hand is the Ubuntu one running in gnome. It was the one installed by default. It, on the other hand, is nice to look at. Can anyone help me get my firefox looking pretty like it should? |
You could use the gtk-qt theme engine to make all gtk apps look like KDE apps. Another option is to install something like the gtk-theme-switch and pick a gtk thtme you like. I am not sure about gentoo specific solutions because I have never used it.
