Firebird isql command and GLIBCPP_3.2

Hi all!
I just installed firebird on my Fedora Linux 4, but trying to run the isql binary, i'm obtaining this error message:

./isql: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version 'GLIBCPP_3.2' not found (required by ./isql)
./isql: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version 'CXXABI_1.2' not found (required by ./isql)
./isql: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version 'GLIBCPP_3.2' not found (required by ./usr/lib/libfbembed.so.1)
./isql: /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5: version 'CXXABI_1.2' not found (required by ./usr/lib/libfbembed.so.1)

I installed many rpms looking for this error message without any successful results. Is there a simple and clear solution to solve this kind of problem?

Thank u.

PS: I have the libstdc++.so.5 in the /usr/lib directory.

So, what happened finally?
I am also facing the same problem and wanted to know if you found some solution!:-)

I had the same trouble. I did a Google on the filename GLIBCPP_3.2 and came across this message. Then I searched where I should've started: https://www.redhat.com/apps/support/

Once there, I did a search and found a RPM to download: compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3-47.fc4.i386.rpm

This took care of the problem for me.
