"find files" function in Konqueror doesn't work

For some reason, my Konqueror can't use Find Files. When I enter the parameters and then click find, the search instantly ends with nothing found, even when I know the item(s) exist. I do have kfind installed, and just tried reinstalling it and Konqueror. What else could be wrong?

I had the same problem, have you tried to tick the "search subfolders also"?

OK,try this, then:

Have you tried the command "find" in the Konsole?
code: find nameofmyfile
you can use some options, (you can find more help in "help find" or "man find"
