File system

could anyone tell me more about DualFS the new File system in linux...

Also when I read about journalized file system in linux. it said that file system keeps a log which helps to recover from system crash. Is there an such mechanism in windows file systems FAT and NTFS.

FAT = no, not at all

NTFS = Yes (but it doesn't protect user data, and, looking at my rather old Windows NT Resource Kit, I don't think you can configure it to do so. Maybe its different in more recent versions.)
