IM tryin to set up fetchmail, so I can use MUTT.

I have tried a basic fetchmail command from the command line (no ~/.fetchmailrc file) and i cannot connection to my mail box.

$ fetchmail -v -k -u NAME mail.google.com

it times out, socket error while fetching

Are there any configurations that i am missing?
