Fedora installation on VMware

Hi all, i have recently tried installing fedora on a virtual machine and encouneterd the following errors. A 'No drives found' dialog box keeps poping up during the installation displaying a msg like:

"An error occured - No valid devices where found on which to create new file systems. Please check your hardware for the cause of t his problem."

Any help as to how to solve this problem will be appreciated. thanks in advance

This may seem like a silly question, but just to be thorough, did you created the virtual hard drive for the virtual machine before doing the install?

Also, I believe there are some pre-built Fedora virtual machine downloads on the VMWare site.

thanks for the posts guys. I had to change the virtual device to IDE not SCSI in order to get it to work.
