Fedora 20 diff output from localectl and locale

Hi group,

I have my laptop with a fresh install of Fedora 20. My seamonkey
mailer is using LANG=en_GB format. I want en_US instead.
These commands show the output of lacale:
Quote:
; localectl
System Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8
VC Keymap: us
X11 Layout: us
; locale
LANG=en_GB.utf8
LC_CTYPE=C
LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.utf8"
LC_TIME="en_GB.utf8"
LC_COLLATE="en_GB.utf8"
LC_MONETARY="en_GB.utf8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.utf8"
LC_PAPER="en_GB.utf8"
LC_NAME="en_GB.utf8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_GB.utf8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.utf8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB.utf8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB.utf8"
LC_ALL=
How do I change the system wide en_GB.utf8 to en_US.utf8? I have done
the google searches nut most results are out of date and not related
to Fedora 20.

Thanks for your time.

Putting the following line in /etc/environment:

Code:
export LANG=en_US.utf8
and then
Code:
source /etc/environment
should do.
