ext3 optimisation

What do you think bout these options?
Will they boost ext3?

/dev/hda1 / ext3 defaults,errors=remount-ro,atime,auto,rw,dev,exec,suid,nouser,data=writeback 0 1

I think if you don't loose the default part they are not being used but don't quote me on this

Umm, 'default' implies most of those options you gave i do believe. Also 'atime' will degrade performance, use 'noatime' unless you have need of access times being correct.

And use relatime instead of noatime if you want to make mutt happy (among other things).
