Expert opinion partioning hard drive & making raid 1

Hello Everyone,

I just got my new server. I have 2 120GB IDE hard drives. I would like to create raid 1. I look at some Red Hat 9.0 documentation but I am not quite sure how I should do raid devices. How may I should create and what size should be.

I have an old server up and running with 30GB hardrive. I did partion as foolows:

/var 5GB
/home 2GB
/www 10GB Appache web directory
/db 8GB Database partition (mysql data)

The space I have in my new server more than enough for my needs. Do you have any suggestions how I should partion to my new hardrive.

I am going to use this server for my webserver.

Thanks for your input.
