Do any one know how can I add Email account on Exim. I have Exim installed on my server with two -three domains, now I need to make valid email addresses.
oop I forget to tell you, I need this to be done using command line or editing files manually
Actually, I am working on one project in which I need to Make a Web interface to all Server admin to add emails, something like panels provide. And I am new to linux and don;t have idea about how to do this.
I have Exim installed on my server with two -three domains, now I need to make valid email addresses.
My server has different domains, (its a public web server) and I have to make like abc@example.com and abc2@example1.com now, If I have Linux user, than it will listen to abc@exmaple.com as well, or not ?
or can you provide me a sample config that I can read... I have one server with cpanel on it using exim, but I didn't find any where how he handles different domain users.
and can i have your MSN OR yahoo id Mr Acid Please .
by default if that is recieving mail for multiple domains then local users are valid for all of them. I've not used exim for a few years now, but like all MTA's you'll have an external table where you can manually redirect addresses to other accounts.
thanks for your advice, I have found that config file, thought still hunting for solution, but atleast I am able to start using it after 2-3 days I just send an email using EXIM.
