exact information from a log file,
 

I want info from a log file. In this log file are written information according the time stample if something occure. If i want to see what was going on from ( example midnift to 6 o clok AM than how can i get it

Please, show us some lines of the log file in question. Useful tools to extract this kind of information are sed and awk, but perl or python can do the job as well. What have you tried so far and in which language?
