Error while building kdeedu svn

Hi,

I was building kdeedu from svn. First I installed qt-copy and then kdelibs.After doing cmake while I gave make for kdeedu I got the following error message

[ 55%] Building CXX object parley/src/CMakeFiles/parley.dir/practiceold/practicedialog.o
/home/kde-devel/kde4svn/kdeedu/parley/src/practiceold/practicedialog.cpp:37:25: error: Phonon/Global: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [parley/src/CMakeFiles/parley.dir/practiceold/practicedialog.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [parley/src/CMakeFiles/parley.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

I would really appreciate it if someone could help. Thank you

Welcome to LQ.

The right forum could be 'Newbie' or 'Software'
or the forum for your distribution.

So which Linux are you using ? And why not get
'kdeedu' with the package manager ? Is available
on the most systems.

About your error :
" error: Phonon/Global: No such file or directory "
The developing files for phonon may be missing.

$ svn co svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/4.0/kdeedu
Checked out revision 1004665.

$ cd kdeedu
$ mkdir build
$ cd build
$ cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=$KDEDIRS -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=debugfull ..
$ cd parley
$ make

I get no errors with parley ... but usually things can happen,
when you have no build directory.
( All applications using cmake requires a build folder.)
