error, stumped

i downloaded adios(based on redhat)

i chose to run it strait from memory
after going through the basic setup it stopped for about 20 seconds on:
configureing xfree86... (and gives this error
xconf.py: Fatal IO error 2 (connection reset by peer) on X server :17.0.
sed: can't read /etc/x11/xf86Config: No such file or directory
INIT: ID "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

it then opens the cdrom and reboots just to start over again.

can anyone tell me how to fix this problem, is it my monitor/video card

i have a hyundai monitor and a radeon VE card. if theres any more info needed just ask.

your X isn't getting configured properly, or something
specific to that version of linux is incompatible with your
box. try to use the VESA X server if you can figure out how.
