Enlightenment - no esd!?

Hi,

First time I run into this problem: I can't have E start esd, it says failure communicating with the sound server (Esound), but when I stat esd from command line, I'm able to use E with sound.

So I modified .xsession to start esd, but no way, next thing I'm doing is try with .xinitrc... hope it will work. Has anybody ever had a problem like this?
