encrypted remove backup with truecrypt

Hi

I am looking to backup my data on a remote server on the net. Understandably, I am focused on privacy, since I don't know what a Provider will do with my data. In these times of zero privacy and massive abuse of data I want to encrypt them on the drive of the provider.

I have seen methods using encFS, but I would much rather use a file container of truecrypt, that I can access over sshfs (fuse). Are there low cost providers out there that provide this?

How about S3 from Amazon? That does not follow standards, right? no Rsync or mounting of the "share" locally on my station possible?

How much data? GetDropbox.com offers 2Gb free up to 100G for $$. very cool service that lets you sync between win/Lin/Mac too.. Works well with TrueCrypt as in, you upload the truecrypt volume to them and access the TC volume over the net so your data remains secure.
