edit lilo to show only win/lin

OK, just dual booted win/mandrake 10.1
Windows on sda
Linux on sdb
(2 serial HDDs)

When i boot up, Lilo puts Linux, Linux-nonfb, Windows, and failsafe options in my boot screen. How do i change that to read only Linux and Widows. I opened the lilo.conf file in /etc, but there is a lot of stuff. What is safe to REM out and what isn't. How should i modify it?

Thanks

Thanks very much Masand.

BTW, what do those other 2 options do anyway? linux-nonfb and Failsafe. If i remove them, am i going to be in trouble later?

masand 06-29-2005 03:00 PM

well u have multiple lables to boot different boot images for different linux versions and usage
so u have the option like failsafe etc
in ur case u can notice that in all lables it is booting with same parameters and same image files
so i don't thinkthat there will be any change for you if u boot from these different labels
you can try that for urself

regards
