Dynamic wallpaper

Hi All,

Is it possible to have dynamic wallpaper on your desktop? For example, I like the look of the GLMatrix screensaver and was wondering if you can have that screensaver running in the background while working on your desktop? Does the wallpaper, or desktop, have to be static? Thanks for the help.

AFAIK you can do it in KDE, when you choose your background...

I tried "./glmatrix -root" and this is the error I get:

X error in glmatrix:
X Error of failed request: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)
Major opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GetWindowAttributes)
Resource id in failed request: 0xe
Serial number of failed request: 20
Current serial number in output stream: 21

Any ideas? Thanks.

ETA: I can type just "./glmatrix" in a terminal, but that just opens the program in its own window. I'd like to be able to use the desktop with glmatrix running in the background.
