is there a way I can set up a dual boot on one 120 gig drive with multiple partitions, one drive with xp and one drive with gentoo, I want to be able to select between each os at bootup?
yes, not a problem at all.. very standard setup really. just install XP first, and, of course, remember to leave some space for gentoo (preferably as close to the start of the drive as you are comfortable with.... giving it the 195th gig onwards probably won't make it too happy...
