Dual Booting -- Choices at the push of a button?

I was wondering if it were possible to have a dual boot system (XP and Debian) where when you press, say F7, you will boot into windows or if your press F6 you will boot into Linux. I have a monitor that doesn't support the initial start-up graphics and I thought this would be helpful.

Thanks

Usually, when you have installed WinXP first and after that you install Debian, GRUB will make an entry in its list of choices...
But you can also try a seperate boot manager, although I have no experience with that.

Blue_Ice -- That is correct... I will have XP installed and then install Linux such that both options are in GRUB. I guess the question is then can/how can I configure GRUB to wait for a certain key to be pressed to boot up one of the operating systems instead of seeing a list?
