Exclamation dual boot setup W/bootmagic

Hello,
I am new to the forum and also to using Linux.
I am trying to setup W2K and Turbolinux server 6.0.20SE using bootmagic 7.
I have tried numerous ways of doing this and so far have not succeded. If anyone has any input on the Proper or easiest way to do this please.......... fill me in.
Thanx..

The Linux Documentation Project

I'm sure there's a W2K and Linux HOWTO at the Linux Documentation Project, http://www.tldp.org. It probably won't cover bootmagic though, just the standard boot loaders.

I've used Bootmagic and Red Hat Linux together; the same setup should (*should*) work with Turbolinux. I installed Linux and instructed LILO to install on the Linux partition (in my case, hd9) instead of in the MBR. I then installed Bootmagic, and it detected the Linux and Windows installation. This allows the easy control and flexibility of Bootmagic, and still allows LILO to correctly start Linux. The downside: two boot driver sequences, and LILO will still break if I resize my partitions and change the location of the Linux partition. GRUB should fix that -- and then I wouldn't need Bootmagic.

Bootmagic is not the best bootloader available, the last (and only) time I used it I thought it......well, I didn't think much of it
