Question Drag and Drop Fail

Hi,

In Mozilla, I can successfully drag a URL's icon from the address bar, but when I try to drop it on my desktop or in a folder on my desktop, the icon disappears.
So drag and drop fails.

Almost everything I try in Linux fails. Many things eventually succeed but the initial fail rate, for me, is nearly 100%. Very frustrating. If my job depended on learning this OS, it would be a "no go."

Any solution to drag and drop fail?
