Have bought Windows PCs and converted them straight to Linux
As it turns out, I was right to keep W7 around. It seems that a number of Adobe products are needed for submitting tax returns in my Cuntry! :frustrated:
Maybe you should just say no and remove that dependency...?
The first new laptop I ever bought had Ubuntu 10.04 installed from Dell. Other than that I've generally bought Windows machines and installed a Linux distro. I think from now on I will be building my own computers, and buying laptops with no OS or with Linux pre-installed.
