can someone tell me how to set one up or tell me a link to a site with the content?thanks

Check out the bind howto and others at www.tldp.org

I severely doubt anyone will explain how to do this on a forum, were not here to write novel's you know..

Do yourself a favor and get 'DNS and Bind' from OReilly. This is too broad a subject for a howto guide, let alone a help forum, to address completely.

I agree with Bulliver. I used that book and set up bind in a few days. Post on the forum if you get stuck.
