right heres the problem

i downloaded Red Hat 9 and installed it...(runs a bit slow but hey what do you expect for free and its very good)
i installed it with apache and PHP already ...so i set up a webserver for localhost and my i.p. address,

the problem is i bought a domain name and i want to make mydomainname.com go to my website ...i dont want to forward it as i also want to be able to create an e-mail system (prob ask about this later ) how would i do this...(please explain easyly lol if it is)
also i want to be able to create new websites on different folders with there own CGI-BIN and there own domain that isnt forwarded

OK Are you on a fixed IP address? Also for the domain do a google for "apache virtualhost"

i get my I.P. addy from DCHP and i have already got that it comes witht eh installation of linux i have but i cannot find any proper help files on it

I would advise you to signup at http://www.dyndns.org/ to get a fixed name for you computer. Then on the DNS servers for your domain name add

www IN CNAME dyndns.com.name
