distros for internet use

Hi All,

Are there distros whose CDs contain all the various plug-ins, like flashmedia, that are needed to surf the Web properly?

I have trouble downloading at length as I have a limited connection time.

Thanks in advance.

Suse 10.1 has an Add on disc that contains java, flash, adobe reader and realplayer. The plugins are automatically configured for you when you install these packages.

Then you are going to find it difficult to download any distro, as to my knowledge they are all bigger than the flash etc installers for Linux.

There are other options though, ubuntu sends you CDs, you can get them off the front of magazines, or even buy them in the shops (sometimes you get a decent book too)

Hi fellas,

Thanks for your answers. I'll have a look at Suse!
