disk quotas
 
I need help setting up disk quota first i have a question

If i set up a disk quota does the user get a special partion or can it be on my regular partion?

my users have thier homedir which is /home/usernamehere

i can set up the disk quota to the folder /home/usernamehere and to a user right?


and how is a disk quota set up?

It's a regular partition that has been mounted with quota-support. Also, your kernel needs to support quotas.
