I am not sure where this question goes but my granddaughter goes to a site called club penguin. She started using this site when I used Blag 30k, an operating system based on the Fedora O/S. When I upgraded to Blag 50k, she could no longer see the her sign in and password text. Part of the website is a chat room for children and the fonts do not show on the chat area. I loaded Centos 4.4 and there was no problem, however I get the same negative effect when I loaded Ubuntu 6.0. I am not sure where to go to correct this. I talked to the folks in the Blag community but they had no answers. The webpage fonts show up but anything she types just doesn't appear. Any suggestions, no matter how remote would be appreciated because I would really like to use Ubuntu or Blag as my O/S, but the granddaughter, of course, comes first. I should say that I am not a computer whiz, but I am at laymen's level with Linux.

Try a different browser. Should you be using Firefox, try Opera. I'm having similar problems on Debian with FFX.
