Hi,

HOW TO CHECK THE STATUS OF DHCP running or not?

Hello,

In most circumstances, if you don't have an 'unusual' setup, you can use the service command to get the status of the service:
Code:
service <servicename, i.e. dhcpd, isc-dhcp-server, ...> status
which will give you output similar to this:

# service isc-dhcp-server status
Status of ISC DHCP server: dhcpd is running.
You can also check the output of the ps command to see if your dhcpd process is running. Hope this helps.
