Desktop Resolution Problem


Hey guys in my linux box im using Centos, and on my box i have a 128mb vga card. My desktop current resolution is 1027x768 and i tried to change it to a higher value. after i restarted linux now wont load the screen is plain blank and the LED on the monitor turn from green to orange. is there a way to fix this?

It is likely that your monitor is now out of its resolution range. Does this happens when your are inside the desktop environment or in console mode??

Try passing to the kernel in the boot menu the following option:

Code:
 vga=normal
That should do it...
