The #1 Thing I Hate About Linux!

Package Dependencies!

Why is it that everytime I want to install an app I have to spend an hour searching down package dependencies?

Where do I find libsigwrap-so-dimblah, blah, blah...? Then when I finally find it it has it's own set of dependencies! Would it be so bad to include it with the application since the application requires it???

Maybe I don't understand the application development process well enough or maybe it's just the peppers I had for lunch but this is enough to make one stick to Windows!

Thanks for letting me vent, I feel a little better now.

I use RH on my desktop and slack for my firewall... all tarballs, i mean 'tarbells'. Your general assumptions are a good reflection of your intelligence.
