dependency problems (libImlib.so.1 won't install)

hi,

im trying to install enlightenment, it's asking for dependencies, i managed to install "fnlib", but "libImlib.so.1" can't be installed...
I've downloaded a rpm for libImlib and installed it sucessfully, but enlightment still screams for dependencies for libImlib.so.1.

system:
red hat 8

I don't know if it will help you, but there is a lot of information on getting Enlightenment up and running, with lots of problem-solving, at this address:

http://sunsite.ui.ac.id/pub/X11/WindowManager/enlightenment/

He has some information on your specific error that might help.

I'll keep an eye out for other possible answers, as well.

A search of rpmfind suggests that the package included in the imlib.rpm is libimlib.so.11 (i.e. eleven, not 1). Could this be a faulty rpm? I remeber fighting with dependencies for enlightenment on SuSE... Never dealt with rpms - think I ended up getting all the imlib tarballs direct from enlightenment
