I want a program but can't use the current version with my i486 and redhat -6.2. The home page of the rpm lists many older versions, but no links to check if one of them might have dependencies matching what I have. I can't upgrade to the dependencies needed by the most recent dist due to my system limitations. Do I just download them one at a time and rpm -p until I get no complaints?
Since the http links don't work on the older versions, how would I use rpm -p? Or do I download and then rpm --test?
