Deleting the lines from a file using shell scripts

Hi ,
I wish to delete few lines from a text file using
shell script.
e.g, I want to delete the text between line
number 58 to 96 and save the changes
in the same file.

Please help me to solve this problem.

Please do not post a thread on the same topic more than once. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
