delete third partition (what happens?)

ok, so i have windows, suse 9.1 and a second suse 9.1 (don't ask, long story) on my hard drive.

so i had windows, installed suse (old) and then through some other stuff, i had to install a second suse (new)...so right now, when i boot up, lilo from suse new appears, and i end up choosing suse old cause that's the one i want...anyways, when i'm in suse old, i can delete the suse new partition...what would happen if i do this? will lilo not show up next time? or how do i set it so that the lilo from suse old shows up?

all the data on that partiton would dissapear :P
lilo will not be effected provided none of LILO's config files are stored on that parttion.

and if they are, you can always re-install lilo with a different partiton for its config files.
