Hi, I have created a new regular user using users-admin, but I forgot to add groups which the user was a member of (like audio). Consequently the permissions for this user are all screwed up, so I went back into user-admin and added every group except root. What I would like is to set the default user group permissions, because currently I am worried the user is overprivileged and I don't have another regular user account which I can check to get the defaults. The groups I have available are:
- <username>
- adm
- audio
- backup
- bin
- camera
- cdrom
- clamav
- crontab
- daemon
- Debian-exim
- dialout
- dip
- disk
- fax
- floppy
- games
- gdm
- gnats
- hal
- irc
- kmem
- list
- lp
- lpadmin
- mail
- man
- messagebus
- mysql
- news
- nogroup
- operator
- plugdev
- proxy
- root
- sasl
- shadow
- src
- ssh
- staff
- sudo
- sys
- tape
- tty
- users
- utmp
- uucp
- video
- voice
- www-data
