Debian repo in sidux

Hi! I want to install compiz but sidux doesn't support it, so is it possible to add the debian main contrib and non-free repo n sidux and install them?

Lenny is the "stable" branch of Debian. Sidux is based on Sid, the "unstable" branch. Therefore, Sidux uses much newer versions of packages/applications than Lenny.

For example, Compiz is version 0.7.6-7 in Lenny and 0.8.2-6 in Sid.

You should not "install from Lenny" if you are using Sidux.

Hope that helps clear things up.

Debian sid repo should already be in your sources.list. Although you might need to add contrib non-free
