How come this "File too large" error exists? It is driving me nuts! The volume I am writing to is a 500GB external hard drive, and I am only trying to write little more than 5GB to a file as per
these instructions (at the "Acquire an Ubuntu filesystem" step, but with Linux Mint 10 KDE instead).
