database and locate
 

I accidently removed mysql database from Linux and just curious how it will effect locate command. What database locate command is using?

It won't affect it at all, don't know for sure what format it uses - but the info will be help in a file slocate.db (at least in slackware) or possibly locate.db -something like that.
